James Mangini has helped thousands of people with purchase and refinance home loans. James became a mortgage professional in March 2004 after serving in the United States Army as an explosives engineer. In less than one year, James was asked to manage the mortgage company and helped grow the organization into a $30-million firm. James also managed a second, mid-sized mortgage company where he led mortgage professionals through some of the most difficult times in the mortgage industry. James has been recognized for being in the top percentile of loan originators in the nation for customer service and integrity by the Lending Tree.
James now works at First World Mortgage, one of the fastest-growing Connecticut Mortgage lenders. He continues to assist people with purchasing homes and refinancing mortgages, while managing the organization’s brand at this time of rapid growth and expansion.
Serving The Community
A very active humanitarian, James became a Michael J. Fox Foundation/Team Fox Mentor. He provides fundraising, marketing, planning and related guidance to Team Fox fundraisers, of which there are over 1,500 worldwide. James also provides a scholarship for one Charleston Southern University student each year and serves on the Board of Visitors. In addition to numerous other volunteer endeavors, in 2000 James volunteered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the Burgdorf Junction Fire Suppression Effort and lived in the mountains for 30 days to assist in fighting wildfires in Burgdorf Junction, Idaho.
